This is a GREAT dish to make durring the week.
Ingredients:
Pork Chops Bone In (2-4 for 3 people) 4 + for 3 or more people.
1 pkg of egg noodles (Lite and Fluffy brand is my favorite or Mullers)
1 1/2 cup of italian bread crumbs
1-2 eggs scrambled with 1/4 cup of milk
1 large can (Family size) Campbells mushroom soup
1/2 the can of milk
1 larg baking pan (make sure it is deep enough to hold the mushroom soup and porkchops so it does not overflow)
4 TBLS or olive oil
tin foil
Pre heat oil in pan on med high setting on stove top
Empty can of mushroom soup and 1/2 can of milk in large bowl and mix togeather
Pre heat oven to 375 degrees
lightly salt each side of pork chops
dip in egg/milk mixture
then dip in italian bread crumbs to coat both sides
fry pork chops on both sides until brown (not burnt) on both sides
remove pork chops to plate with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Add 1/2 of soup mixture into baking pan
Add cooked porkchops to baking pan
Pour the rest of the soup mixture over the porkchops
cover top of baking dish tightly with tin foil ( or use a cover if dish comes with it)
Put in pre heated oven for approx 45 minutes.
boil water and cook egg noodles as directed.
When porkchops are done , serve over cooked egg noodles. I add a bit of butter and salt to my egg noodles and mix before putting the porkchop and mushroom sauce over it.
Yummy comfort food!!! Add your favorite veggie on the side or a nice salad!
