Chicken Paprika

OK, if you want a super duper easy quick yummy chicken all in one dinner recipe here it is:

Chicken Paprika

1 large cassarole dish (retangular is best)
8-10 pieces of skin on bone-in chicken pieces (legs and thighs are great)
red bliss potatoes sliced into 1/4 inch slices (a 3 lb bag )
2 large onions cut in half and sliced
1 stick of butter (not margerine)
garlic salt (approx 1-2 tbls)
paprika 1 tbls
Black pepper 1 tbls
Salt 2 tsp


Toss sliced potatoes,onion slices and garlic salt , pepper, salt paprika  until well coated then add to bottom of cassarole dish take 1/2 stick of butter and cut thin slices all over the potatoes on top.
put skin side up chicken pieces on top of potato slices. Take other 1/2 stick of butter melt with 1 tsp of salt, 2 tsp of garlic salt, 1 tsp of pepper and 2 tsp of paprika melt all togeather in microwave or stove top, slather all over chicken.

Do NOT cover, put in 425 degree oven for approx 1hr.  Make sure chicken is nice a crispy , take out of oven and let cool down for approx 10 minutes before serving.

My kids love to slap a spoonful of sour cream on top of each serving, it is so delicious! No need to serve anything else with it, great just the way it is. Prep time is no more then 15 minutes!
